Chemical Distributers, Manufacturers, and companies that deal with soaps, detergents, surfactants, and industrial (in)organics have very specialized insurance needs. Standard ISO policies can often leave large gaps in coverages, and may not cover large exposures to loss.

Our Chemical Programs contemplate risks such as Auto, Property, Pollution Legal Liability, General Liability, Chemical Umbrella, and others.

The Falcigno Group has been in the Environmental Insurance business for nearly 40 years, and we have the expertise to analyze your exposures to loss, and help put an insurance program into place that will help protect your assets from loss.

CONSULTANTS

Environmental consultants are concerned with the prevention of injury to the environment from a client's operation. They also assist clients in the control or cleanup of existing damage or exposure to environmental concerns. An environmental consultant may arrange for testing of greenhouse gas emissions, monitor air quality, or review compliance with EPA or other regulatory agencies regarding hazardous waste disposal.

Professional liability exposure and errors and omissions exposure can be extensive. Consideration must be made as to potential for environmental damage due to ineffective advice or incorrect testing practices. All procedures must be followed and inspections regularly conducted. Documentation must be clear, with changes marked and authorizations signed by both the consultant and the customer. Customers can suffer financial loss if they must pay fines or cease operations due to a government order because of environmental concerns. In addition, release of pollutants can cause property damage to surrounding residential or business areas.

Coverages to consider: General Liability, Employee Benefits, Professional, Umbrella, Hired and Non-ownership Auto, Workers Compensation, Contractor’s Equipment, Employment Related Practices, Business Automobile Liability and Physical Damage, and others.

HWTSD Facilities

Any process that changes the physical, chemical or biological characteristics of a waste to minimize its threat to the environmental would be performed at a Hazardous Waste Treatment or Disposal facility.

Additionally, these facilities may store the waste, acting as a temporary holder before the waste is treated, disposed of, or stored somewhere else.

Coverages to consider : Insurance programs for these types of facilities can be very complex, and the scope of that insurance plan should be discussed with our team of professionals.
